Experience the natural wonders that Gold Coast has to offer. The beautiful city is surrounded by the majestic national parks and nestled beside the spectacular ocean. With such abundance of natural blessings, at Arc Resort we strongly believe in conserving our environment and taking care of our surroundings for future generations. We also encourage everyone to take part on the annual celebration at the award winning environmental festival in the country - Green Day Out 2011.
Green Day Out is an ecological celebration that seeks to raise consciousness on environment conservation and sustainability. The festival was founded in 1999 and has since attracted tens of thousands of people actively promoting an environment friendly way of life. Green Day Out is also a part of the United Nations’ World Environment Day annual celebrations.
The Festival three main objective to showcase sustainable products and services that will help people to make green lifestyle choices; to promote individual and collective efforts which protect, conserve and rehabilitate the natural environment; and to celebrate the environment and the diversity of people, plants and animals living in the region. Guests at our cheap Broadbeach accommodation can learn more about greener lifestyle choice through eco markets, ground-breaking green businesses, and environmental workshops.
Green Day Out 2011 will be held on 12 June 2011 at Kurrawa Park in Broadbeach. Festival goers from our holiday accommodation Broadbeach can look forward on another fun-filled day at this year’s Green Day Out. The festival will feature live music, mouthwatering delicacies, art displays, kids activities, petting zoo, market stalls, street performers, wildlife shows, film screenings, eco fashion designing competition and many more.
